2. Information we process
Depending on how you use ReelsCut, we process your email address and account or login-link records; technical records such as client IP address, session and security records; uploaded recordings and associated file names and sizes; transcripts, derived captions, edited outputs; order, payment-status, plan allowance, entitlement, and service-event records; and messages sent through an enabled support channel.
Uploaded recordings may contain personal data about you or other people shown or heard in the recording. Upload only material you are entitled to provide for editing.
3. Why we use information
We use information to create and secure an account, receive and process uploads, fulfill an editing request, deliver service communications, manage payment-linked access, prevent abuse, and investigate support or security issues.
We process information where needed to provide the service and perform our agreement with you, meet legal obligations, protect the service and its users, or where a required consent has been given.
4. Service providers and recipients
Creem handles payment as merchant of record. ReelsCut uses Resend for service email and Cloudflare Email Routing for incoming support email.
Depending on the editing workflow, ReelsCut uses ElevenLabs Scribe to transcribe uploaded audio, Groq for fallback transcription and audio verification, and OpenRouter to process transcripts, text instructions, and, where that workflow is used, review images. We also use infrastructure providers needed to operate the service.
The ReelsCut website uses PostHog analytics. It receives browser-storage identifiers, page activity, button-click and service events, selected marketing parameters, and a category of referring source, such as a search engine or a direct visit. Our providers and infrastructure may process information outside Georgia or your country. We share information with providers only as necessary for the purposes in this Notice. Contact support@reelscut.ai for details about the processing relevant to your request.
5. Retention
Incomplete upload chunks and files for orders that were not submitted are scheduled for deletion after 48 hours.
We keep submitted recordings, transcripts, captions, and delivered files while needed to process, deliver, support, and secure the order, and then remove them through our media-retention process. The purpose and activity of the order determine that period.
6. Your rights and requests
Subject to applicable law, you may request information about processing, access to and a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, erasure or termination of processing, blocking of data in applicable circumstances, data transmission where technically feasible, or withdrawal of consent where processing relies on it.
Send a request to support@reelscut.ai. We may need enough information to verify that the request concerns your data. You may also have a right to appeal to the State Audit Office of Georgia or a court as provided by law.
7. Security and changes
We use operational safeguards appropriate to the service to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, or disclosure.
